BCRP Welcomes New Intern Class The Boston Combined Residency Program welcomes 45 new members of what promises to be one of the greatest classes in its history. The new interns come from 18 states and five countries, went to 30 different colleges and 28 different medical schools, and majored in more than two dozen diverse subjects including classics, art, archeology, history, French, education, nursing, government, engineering, math and physics. Thirteen are PhDs or have PhD-like research experience and five hold MPH or other Masters degrees. Eight of the new interns graduated from Harvard Medical School. The medical schools at UCSF, Penn, Chicago, Virginia, Massachusetts, Boston University and Washington University, St Louis are also represented by more than one individual in the intern class.
