The Division of Sports Medicine has provided care to thousands of young athletes and is the healthcare choice of world-renowned dancers and professional athletes.
Our staff sees between 300 to 400 patients every week at locations in Boston, Lexington, Peabody y Waltham. Our surgeons perform an average of 1500 to 2000 operations annually.
In addition to clinical care of children, adolescents and adults, our staff has conducted extensive investigación in the recognition and prevention of sports-related injuries and continues to initiate funded research projects in this area.
The Sports Medicine staff includes five orthopedic surgeons, six primary care sports medicine specialists, two podiatrists, a sports nutritionist, three physician assitants, three certified athletic trainers, and an exercise physiologist.
