We see children who are not experiencing success in school or who are having specific difficulties with academic achievement.

We also see children with medical conditions that may be neurological and are affecting their school progress.

The Comprehensive Learning Disabilities Evaluation is an interdisciplinary assessment that is guided and integrated by developmental neuropsychological theory. The evaluation includes five component evaluations -- neurology, neuropsychology, oral and written language, mathematics and psychology. After the testing is completed, the evaluation team convenes to review the findings from each evaluation and then integrates them into a comprehensive profile of the child's functioning and adaptation. Although all the elements typical of extensive test batteries for the individual evaluations may not always be administered (for example, only selected subtests of the Wechsler Intelligence Scales for Children IV are typically completed), the integrative process synthesizes details of the child's behavior and test performance across multiple domains as well as incorporates the data from parent interviews and written teacher reports, including parent and teacher versions of the BASC and the data from parent interviews and written teacher reports, including parent and teacher versions of the BASC and the BRIEF. This synthesis provides a broad and sufficient basis for our conclusions and allows for a comprehensive profile to be generated.
