Neuromuscular Program (Muscular Dystrophy)

The Neuromuscular Program at Children's Hospital Boston is internationally known for providing innovative diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic services for children with neuromuscular diseases.

Working with pediatric specialists throughout Children's, our program provides rehabilitative and diagnostic services to infants, children and adolescents who suffer from a variety of neuromuscular issues.


	Pioneers in Muscular Dystrophy Physicians and researchers at Children's conducted the original work to define the gene and molecular abnormalities in Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy, as well as other molecular abnormalities in congenital myopathies and limb-girdle muscular dystrophies.
