The Diabetes Program combines the expertise of specialists in endocrinology and diabetology, diabetes nurse educators, dietitians, and a medical social worker to manage the medical, nutritional and psycho-social needs of children and adolescents with diabetes. Our goal is to teach patients and their families how to effectively manage diabetes and to empower people with diabetes to live normal lives.
We provide comprehensive services for infants, children, adolescents and young adults with all types of diabetes. This includes type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, steroid-induced diabetes, post-pancreatectomy diabetes, and other rare forms of diabetes. Nuestros servicios incluyen:
  • diagnostic evaluation
  • management of the acute complications of diabetes
  • long-term management and follow-up care.
We see patients at our Boston campus and at several locations throughout Eastern Massachusetts.
