The Pediatric Neuro-immunology Program is dedicated to the comprehensive care of children, adolescents and families who are affected by rare disorders in which the immune system attacks the brain and spinal cord. The team of providers cares for children and adolescents with opsoclonus-myoclonus-ataxia syndrome ("dancing eyes syndrome"), central nervous system vasculitis, Hashimoto's encephalopathy, and similar disorders. The Program is led by pediatric neurologist Dr. Mark Gorman, M.D. and also includes pediatric neuropsychologist Dr. Melissa Matson, Ph.D. Consultations with pediatric specialists in rheumatology, endocrinology, and oncology are also available.
