Centro para Hemofilia Boston

Children's Hospital Boston is the pediatric site of the Boston Hemophilia Center, the largest hemophilia program in New England. As a federally funded hemophilia treatment center and joint program with Hospital Brigham y Women's Hospital, the program provides comprehensive care to people with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders.

Our Center's philosophy of care is to treat the whole family through ongoing supervision of all the medical and psychosocial aspects of bleeding disorders. Our services include but are not limited to the following:

Comprehensive medical evaluation and treatment.
Ongoing medical management.
Counseling and support.
Discounts on factor and ancillary products.
Access to new treatment approaches through clinical research.

As the regional referral center for patients with bleeding disorders, patients come to us from all over New England. We also treat patients from many other states and several countries around the world. Children's Hospital Boston provides care to infants, children, adolescents and young adults. Adult patients are treated at Brigham and Women's Hospital. In general, we transition care to Brigham and Women's Hospital by age 22.
