World AIDS Day Celebration
The Children's Hospital AIDS Program (CHAP) will mark World AIDS Day with a commemorative event on Friday, November 30, 2007.
The celebration will include a full-day of activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a formal ceremony to be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. La CHAP memorial quilt, a memorial honoring children lost to AIDS, will also be displayed.
The event will also include an icecream tasting of "Mad Fish Mud", a new ice cream flavor developed by TV's "Mad Fisherman" Charlie Moore and Brigham's Ice Cream. Proceeds from the sale of this ice cream benefit HIV/AIDS patients at Children's.
